We had a super busy weekend and I thought I would share a few pictures. On Saturday we had a birthday party to go to and I was very excited that it was a costume party. Unfortunately, I didn’t have much luck getting Greenleigh into her giraffe costume, so we had to go with the backup costume, Cinderella. And wouldn’t you know, Greenleigh insists that we sing “Happy Birthday” at least 8 times a day, but won’t sing the song at an actual birthday party.
Hazeline’s peacock costume wasn’t quite done yet, so she didn’t wear a costume, but was adorable nonetheless.
This morning we went to the pumpkin patch to meet up with some friends and I was able to snap a few pictures while we were waiting for them.
Then it was off to our play group for Halloween arts and crafts. The home that we were at had a cute little duck pond in the back. Greenleigh had a great time feeding the ducks until she fell in…and I had to go in after her. This picture was taken seconds before she fell in. It’s a lot deeper than it looks.
After a change of clothes it was finally time for arts and crafts.
We also got a chance to put up our Halloween decorations earlier this week (after what seemed like never-ending rain). We live in a townhouse so it can be hard to decorate, but we do our best to get into the spirit.
The two pumpkins in the back are still our “decoy” craft pumpkins, because while we went to a pumpkin patch today, we didn’t actually buy any pumpkins. I wish I had a good explanation for that, but I don’t. I suppose I was running late for the playdate and didn’t think about it. Hopefully, we will be able to get a couple pumpkins soon.
So that’s it for us. What did you do this weekend?
