“Mommy, my head hurts…”
They’re the last words you want to hear your child say, let alone say 2 days into a vacation that you’ve had on the books for months. And yet, that’s exactly what happened last week while the girls and I were in Tennessee on vacation. You see, I expect those words during the school year. I don’t want my kids to get sick, but I’m fully prepared for them and with so many germs floating around, I figure it’s inevitable. Despite coating them in sanitizer before they get out of the car in the morning, it’s going to happen.
But then summer happens. Warmer weather and relaxation roll in and I let my guard down. And on vacation my guard is really down. I’m much more concerned about packing for my family, making reservations, and planning out activities. Sick? Well that never really enters the equation…until my child announced that she felt feverish in that hotel room in Tennessee, that is. It was at that moment that sick just got real. Very real.
Thankfully, on this trip I had remembered to pack Children’s Advil®.
Perfect for relieving aches and pains and reducing fevers, Children’s Advil® is a great solution for kids as young as 2 and up to 11. I started using Infants’ Advil® when the girls were 6 months old because I loved the easy dosing syringe included in the package, and transitioned into Children’s Advil® when they hit 2 years old. The kids like the great tasting flavors – Berry, Bubble Gum, Grape, Blue Raspberry, Fruit and Dye-Free White Grape – and I like that Children’s Advil® is sugar-free and dye free. It works quickly too.
On this trip we got lucky because what I thought could be the start of the common cold or a fever ended up only being a headache, but I was so glad that I had the power of Children’s Advil® along for our trip.
Do you have a vacation coming up? Want to win a Pfizer Pediatrics prize pack so you can be prepared in case sick gets real for you while you’re away? Great, because I’m giving one lucky winner a $25 virtual visa gift card and (1) Children’s Advil® Suspension, Grape, (1) Children’s Robitussin ® Extended-Release 12 Hour Cough Relief, and (1) Children’s Dimetapp® Multi-Symptom Cold Relief Dye-Free! Just enter below and it could be yours! Good luck!
