There’s a countdown going on in my house. Each day my kids get up and tell me just how many days are left until spring break starts. They simply can’t wait for lazy days days without homework and strict bedtimes. While they’ve been babbling on about their plans for weeks, but the truth is, I’m still planning out our spring break adventures. One place we’ll definitely be? The movies! And the new Gifted movie opening Friday, April 7th is at the very top of our must see list!More about the movie:
Frank Adler (Chris Evans) is a single man raising a child prodigy – his spirited young niece Mary (Mckenna Grace) – in a coastal town in Florida. Frank’s plans for a normal school life for Mary are foiled when the seven-year-old’s mathematical abilities come to the attention of Frank’s formidable mother Evelyn (Lindsay Duncan) whose plans for her granddaughter threaten to separate Frank and Mary. Octavia Spencer plays Roberta, Frank and Mary’s landlady and best friend. Jenny Slate is Mary’s teacher, Bonnie, a young woman whose concern for her student develops into a connection with her uncle as well.
Gifted is the perfect inspirational film for your family outing if you’re on spring break or just need to get the kids out of the house for a little while.
