It’s hard to believe, but back-to-school time is already upon us! While many of my friends in other parts of the country are headed back to school next week, thankfully here in South Florida we have a little more time before that first bell rings. Because this mom needs more time. With 2 kids heading off to elementary school this year, my back to school shopping list is bigger than ever. And at the very tippy-top of that list? School clothes! Hazeline just needs a few basics, but Greenleigh just went through a growth spurt and is in need of…well…a whole new wardrobe in her new size. So earlier this week we headed out to Sawgrass Mills, the one place I was sure would have everything she could possibly need.
If you’ve never been to Sawgrass Mills before, you’re missing out! Sawgrass Mills is the largest outlet and value retail shopping destination in the United States, with 350 name-brand outlet and off-price retail stores, two major food courts, nine full-service restaurants, and valet. When you add in free wi-fi, complimentary wheelchairs, stroller rentals, and friendly, multi-lingual ambassadors to help guide you through the mall, it really is one of those places where you can spend an entire day!
Sawgrass Mills stores include Gap Outlet, Guess Factory Store, Hugo Boss Factory Store, Marshalls, Michael Kors Outlet, Nike Factory Store, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, and even a Super Target, making it the ultimate shopping destination and the perfect place to get everything you need for back-to-school. Plus, the prices can’t be beat. With discounts all over the mall and savings passports for sale to save even more, you’re sure to get more for your money at Sawgrass Mills. We’ve been going to Sawgrass Mills for years, and it just seemed like the natural choice for our back to school shopping.
We went with a list and came out with even more than anticipated, for less than I ever could have imagined. Shirts, jeans, skirts, shorts, shoes, and even some sunglasses. Okay, so they weren’t on the back-to-school list, but they were so cheap, I couldn’t resist!
All around Sawgrass Mills, we found displays full of back-to-school basics clearly marked and at significant discounts. My daughter who seemed to have outgrown her clothes overnight, had a completely new wardrobe in a matter of hours!
After we were done shopping, we headed out to The Colonnade for selfies and smoothies. It was a great day at Sawgrass Mills!
For a full list of back-to-school savings, check out the Sawgrass Mills website. And now through August 15, drop off a new, unwrapped school supply donations for Tools for Schools at the Guest Services booths and receive a complimentary Savings Passport worth hundreds of dollars in savings. Teachers can also get a complimentary Savings Passport, along with a free valet parking voucher, when they show their ID. There’s even a Simon back to school photo contest where you can enter by sharing your best throwback picture of a back-to-school outfit on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using #tbtbts and #contest for a chance to win Simon gift cards and a $5,000 shopping spree (contest starts August 4 and ends August 24).
