This post is written in collaboration with my friends at Pampers. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Once again, I find myself in the thick of it – potty-training. My emotions run from “Yay!” to “Ugh…” when it comes to potty-training. On one hand, I’m thrilled that he’s getting more independent and on the road to ditching diapers, but on the other, I slightly dread the process. Each time we’ve potty-trained our kids we’ve always relied on training pants and this time is no different – they’re currently a staple in our house.
So when Pampers asked me to host a party for moms featuring Pampers Easy Ups, it was a no-brainer. I was in. And it helps that I happen to know several moms who are also in the thick of potty-training their toddlers. The invitations went out, goody bags assembled, and food was prepared – a Pampers Easy Ups party was in the works!

When the party day finally arrived, I think the kids were more excited than the adults.

And the official party welcoming committee was a Pampers Easy Ups grad:

There was great food and lots of conversation. Since many of the moms who attended are potty-training their second or third child, I asked each mom to share her best potty-training tip. Most said rewards worked best, but it seemed to split as to whether to offer a small candy or treat after every successful potty visit or to offer a larger reward after several successful potty visits.

The one thing that all the moms agreed on was the genius that is the Pampers Easy Up Potty Training Reward Chart. Complete with a magnetic back and easy to use velcro markers indicating each of the potty steps, the moms agreed that this provided a helpful visual for both the parent and the child. They were thrilled to learn that they were each taking one home with them that day.

In addition to the Pampers Easy Ups Potty-Training Reward Chart, each mom went home with Pampers Easy Ups (for boys or girls), a $5 coupon for Pampers products, and a Pampers potty training fact sheet. I encouraged each mom to leave a review on Pampers.com with their honest opinions after trying Pampers Easy Ups. If you’ve tried, Pampers Easy Ups, you should leave a review too!

I had a great time and I think everyone who attended did too. Happy potty-training!
