My kids started planning their summer vacation the minute Spring Break ended. Their plans normally sound something like, “Mommy, I have to go to that painting place this summer…” or “Mommy, we need to go to that beach when school is out…” or “Mommy, remember that water park we went to last summer? Let’s go there!“. Needless to say, they have big plans for when school lets out. I might not be able to keep up, there’s so much on their to-do list and it’s only April.
One thing at the very tippy-top of their list? Finding Dory, of course!
My kids have been Nemo fans for years and can’t wait for silly, quirky Dory to get her time in the spotlight, while I’m looking forward to a summer activity that’s out of the 90+ degree heat and humidity that’s a given for South Florida summers. I think this is the very definition of a win, win. Plus, with a cast that includes Diane Keaton, Ty Burrell, and Ed O’Neill, you know it’s going to be the summer blockbuster!
More about the movie:
Disney•Pixar’s “Finding Dory” reunites everyone’s favorite forgetful blue tang, Dory, with her friends Nemo and Marlin on a search for answers about her past. What can she remember? Who are her parents? And where did she learn to speak Whale? Directed by Andrew Stanton (“Finding Nemo,” “WALL•E”) and produced by Lindsey Collins (co-producer “WALL•E”), the film features the voices of Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Ed O’Neill, Kaitlin Olson, Ty Burrell, Eugene Levy and Diane Keaton. “Finding Dory” swims into theaters June 17, 2016.
Since there are still a few months until summer vacation and the movie’s debut on June 17, 2016, I have some fun activity sheets perfect for all ages to help pass the time –
