Anna, Elsa, and the whole Frozen gang are back and they’re taking the ice right here in South Florida for Disney on Ice Frozen. Telling the tale of true love, the characters glide, spin, and dance across the ice, accompanied by dialogue from the original movie. The songs are just as catchy as you remember them and singing along is highly encouraged. There are even a few special Disney guests along the way.
My kids have been crazy about Frozen for…well…years. Pretty much since the very first weekend the movie came out. So I was a little disappointed when South Florida wasn’t among the first destinations for Disney on Ice Frozen. And so we waited. And waited. And waited. All the while I saw rave reviews from my friends in other cities did get to see the show. Of course, all those reviews made me more determined to be there when Frozen did arrive here in South Florida.
Lucky for me, Disney on Ice Frozen arrived here this weekend and just in time for Hazeline’s 5th birthday. What better way to celebrate a birthday than with Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Kristoff?
And let me tell you – What. A. Show. Disney on Ice Frozen is simply amazing and worth every minute of the wait. It’s everything that you love about Frozen wrapped up in to one live show with the added beauty of figure skating.
Going into this show I wondered how Feld Entertainment would be able to put all the magic of Frozen on the big screen on ice, and yet they did so flawlessly. All of your favorite parts of Frozen are in Disney on Ice Frozen from coronation day to Elsa’s ice palace to the helpful trolls are included in this production. Not a detail was left out or overlooked. This show brings the magic of Disney right here to South Florida. If you have a Frozen fan in your house, this is a show that you have to see and a great way to spend the weekend with your family!
