She may have more hair than the others, but it’s no secret that Maddie is my first child. I adopted her long before kids were even a thought and she’s been my “baby” ever since. And her status didn’t change much when the two-legged kids came along. She sleeps with us, vacations with us, and her diet is nothing but top quality food. By all accounts she’s a full-fledged member of the family (and with the huge bonus of not being able to talk back, she’s often my favorite family member).
Over the years I’ve made sure to spoil Maddie with toys, treats, and long walks, but the truth is, she’s pretty low maintenance. You see, Maddie likes the simple things in life. She loves car rides (though we regularly fight over who is going to drive), rolling in the grass, naps on the foot of the bed, and while she’s not about going to the groomer, she loves the feel of a new haircut.
But above all, Maddie loves food. The easiest way to get her attention is to pour food into her bowl or grab a bag of treats from the cabinet. Her ability to hear those sounds from just about anywhere in the house is absolutely uncanny. Dinner time isn’t just a time in her day, it’s the time she looks forward to all day. And while she’s a pretty low maintenance dog overall, she gets very particular when it comes to her food. Because not just any food will do. Maddie’s bit of a foodie. A furry foodie. Her perfect day is wrapped up with big dinner of her favorite food, while accompanied by her favorite toy. Treats for dessert never hurt either.
Luckily, IAMS caters to furry foodies like Maddie with foods that contain 100% proactive nutrition and zero fillers. That’s everything they need and nothing they don’t. I have always spoiled everyone of my fur babies be they dog or cat–I am putty in their paws!! My current cat Baby is finicky as all get out. I have tried Iams wet food for her and she will sometimes eat it–but I haven’t tried the dry food–I will buy a bag and see if she will like it or just push it away and then spill it all over the floor. It is worth a try. I really wish they would sell trial size bags!!!
She is so cute! I love Iams food. We’ve been using that for our dog for a while now, and it’s great.
Oh my gosh that dog is ADORABLE! We will be checking out all the different dog food brands out there when we get another dog. This is a great review!
Iams is the only food that I trust with my dogs. We just got a new puppy and of course her first food is iams
I have heard such great things about Iams dog food. I actually want to pick some up for my dog, Milo.
What a great way to treat them to some delicious and healthy food. Iams has some awesome options.
Maddie is beautiful and I love those beautiful photos of her. We don’t have a dog, but we have several cats. We are always trying new foods as they seem to get sick of eating the same brand all the time. I will definitely pick up some Iams for them next time I am out. Thank you for sharing.
What a cute pup!! My dogs have done very well on a lamb and rice diet since they were pups. I will have to look into new food the older they get to keep them healthier.
Our dog haven’t tried IAMS products. Hope they will give away some samples so i can let my dog to try first
Will surely visit the said website. Seems like a great reference for pet lovers like me.
Maddie is adorable! Those are some great pictures of her. Iams is a great brand. When we had a pet, that’s the only food we bought!
My animals are so spoiled! I have yet to try iams though, I should see about it for my dogs and cats. Sounds great and like they could benefit from it!
Maddie is such a cutie. You can tell she is well-loved by you! We have never tried Iams for dogs though.
What a pretty dog. We haven’t tried IAMS, but this sounds like a great product. I try to give different brands of dog food to my fur babies, so they won’t easily get tired of their food. I will give this a try.
I think that’s what my in-laws give their pets. We don’t have a dog, but they do have two. We are planning to have one soon though and I’ll definitely check that out once we already have one.
Okay my daughter is obsessed with your pictures. Lol… She’s sitting with me and wants me to keep scrolling up. She loves dogs, Maddie is gorgeous!
I love that Maddie is a full fledged member of your family. She is absolutely adorable, and clearly very healthy and happy.
We have two cats and they are our kids. We actually spend extra on premium food for them from the Vet, and they love it.
My pup has so many food allergies that I have to home make her meals.
This looks like a great brand of dog food. I will have to share this with my Sister. She has two small dogs.
Although I do not own any dogs I understand how it feels to be a pet owner and wanting to give them the best. I try to do that to my lovable cats. Thanks for sharing your post. Your dog is beautiful!
Oh my word, she is a doll!!! I love Iams, it used to be one of my favorite brands for my dog!
I think this is worth a try product for dog owner. The car photo is so adorable.
I don’t have a dog, but I have two kitties and I buy them iams all the time. They just love it
Your dog is too cute! I wish that we were able to have pets where I live. I miss having a puppy running around.
