Well hello, 2015! I’ve been on a bit blogging hiatus this past week – enjoying the last of our vacation, soaking up some family time, and reflecting on a wonderful year – but I wanted to take some time to recap some of my favorite moments from 2014. Because 2014 really was an amazing year for our family. Honestly, it wasn’t anything like what I expected it to be going in, but it brought some wonderful changes. These might not be the best pictures, but they’re some of my favorites from a fabulous year.
We started 2014 with a little boy who was just starting to discover the world around him. His hands were a pretty exciting discovery in January.
And the girls had a pretty good time exploring the strawberry fields in February, despite missing the peak of the strawberry season here in Florida.
March ushered in the first of the family birthdays and “real clothes” for Everett.Easter came and went in April, and the birthdays continued. This time a mouse was involved.
May began the first of the recitals,
which continued into June, along with graduations and a bit of summer fun.
We started July by watching fireworks with friends in the back of my SUV and finished it with Erajh and I jetting off to San Jose for BlogHer14. Luckily, we were able to make a quick stop in San Francisco along the way.
August brought a new school year, complete with a brand new elementary school and much earlier wake up times. And no, I have no idea why Hazeline smiles like that…
In September, Hazeline started her very first T-Ball season, which was met with mixed reviews.
October was probably our busiest month of all, full of weddings (that my husband performed!), blog conferences at Disney, a very important 1st birthday, and costume fun.T-Ball wrapped up for Hazeline in November, just as soccer season began…and we learned about Greenleigh’s talent and passion for playing defense.
As 2014 wrapped up, we visited with Santaattended my sister’s wedding,
and celebrated the start of 2015 as a family.I can’t wait to see what 2015 brings!
