Do you have a special song in your relationship? A song that others may not understand but has a ton of meaning to both of you? We do! It’s Ronan Keating’s When You Say Nothing at All. You’ve probably never heard of it before, and honestly, the only way that I know it is because it was in one of our favorite movies, Notting Hill. So when it came time to pick a song for our first dance, it was a pretty quick decision (in a slightly funny twist, we accidentally picked a different version of the song played by a different artist and danced for a minute or so before we could figure out what was “wrong” with the song). It’s rare to hear it played, but when I do, it brings back all those emotions from our early dating years and our wedding. It’s most definitely OUR song.
But as it turns out, we aren’t alone! Lots and lots of couples have a song that plays a special roll in their relationship and just recently, Blue Mountain did a bit of research on the topic. The results seemed to be a perfect fit for Valentine’s Day and too good not to share.
So do you have a special song? What is it?

So Nice (Summer Samba) by Astrud Gilberto <3 That infographic is spot on, my husband and I are in that 85% that share a moment together when we hear it play!
We have a few songs but I don’t know their name. We just always smile when they come on.
Mine is “Oh, My Love” by John Lennon – it was even our wedding song!
