I’m Going to Dance with the Rockettes – For Real!

When I was 12 or 13 my dad took me to New York to see the city during Christmastime.  We saw the tree in Rockefeller Plaza, took a (very cold) carriage ride through Central Park, and made a visit to FAO Schwartz.  We soaked in the entire New York City Christmas experience – there really is nothing quite like it.  And towards the end of our weekend, we got all dressed up, went over to Radio City Music Hall, and saw the Rockettes in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.  I remember not only being blown away by the performance itself, but thinking that it was the very epitome of Christmas, with a visit from Santa himself.

Now the mom of 3 kids, it’s definitely in my plan to bring my kids to New York and see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular someday.  But with Everett just born in October, this year isn’t that year.  So I pretty much wrote off the idea of my kids seeing the Rockettes this year.

And then I received an email from my friends at GoGo SqueeZ, the makers of all natural applesauce in a pouch.  Turns out the Rockettes are coming to me.  And they want to teach me to dance.  My jaw dropped.  Seriously?  Pinch me, I’m dreaming.
