We’ve been having some pretty rainy spring weather here in South Florida. So when it looked like we were finally going to get some nice weather on Sunday, I decided it was time to hit our local splash pad. It was closed for a majority of the summer last year (seriously, how does that happen? It’s hotter than the face of the sun here in the summertime and I’ve got kids to keep busy!), so I was thrilled to see it back in working order. Lots of water fun for the girls, and because it’s zero-depth, that means that I can observe the water fun from the sidelines without having to don a bathing suit myself. Because let’s face it, kids in ruffled bathing suits are way cuter than any suit that I’d wear! And then, because the girls had not yet had enough water fun, we used our pool for the first time this year. For about a minute, I was glad that summer is on its way and then I remembered the “hotter than the face of the sun” part of South Florida summers.

It looks like they had a lot of fun..
Oh my goodness how cute are they!? Looks like fun!
I wish we had one of those around here! Of course, it’s still far too chilly to use one. We don’t hit face of the sun hot until July. 😉
And thanks for the tip on PicMonkey, I’ll definitely check it out!
ok seriously?! It’s still snowing here in Minnesota 🙁
Eeek. Sorry Miranda. I hope you get some sunshine and warmth soon!
Wow! I wish we had a pool when it reached 92. Its now 70 which is much more comfortable b/c our a/c is broken. Weird spring this year. Looks like that splash park was a big hit!
They look like they’re having a great time!
So fun! The first pic has to be fave though. Look at that face! Adorable. 🙂
That looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing and linking up at Tots and Me
Where is this splash pad? Have been looking for these and all I have found are water parks aside from the foubrain on Hollywood beach.
It’s in Plantation at Plantation Woods Park. It’s very, very busy on the weekends though…just a friendly warning. 🙂
