I try to respect the pumpkin and the turkey, I really do, but I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t start thinking about Christmas Gifts around this time of year.  Specifically, I start to think about the people who are the hardest to buy for, the people who have everything.  For me, that’s my mom and my grandmother.  They don’t need anything, and therefore going to the mall is useless.  They already have all that stuff, and if they don’t, they go buy it for themselves before you even knew they needed it.  The past few years, I’ve found personal, photo gifts are best for them, but I’ve already done photo books, picture frames, and mugs, so this year I was drawing a blank.  What to do, what to do…  And that’s when I found Lauerland Boutique.

Lauerland Boutique is an Etsy shop specializing in handcrafted ceramic coasters.  What’s different about these coasters you ask?  You can put pictures on them!  Any picture you want.  Even better?  They’re affordable.  At only $13.50 for a set of 4, you won’t break the bank.  That’s at least $5 less than a set of non-personalized coasters at one of those big box stores.  And look at that picture quality – they’re clear, crisp pictures on a white background.  Each coaster is a 4.25″x4.25″ water-resistant ceramic square, with felt backing to protect furniture.  A polycrylic sealant protects the coaster and photo from condensation or water damage.  And unlike so many personalized gifts, these won’t take forever to reach your doorstep.  Your order will ship out within 4-6 days of turning your photo selections to Deirdre, the creative genius behind Lauerland Boutique.
