Growing up, my mom always bought me gold jewelry.  Mainly because that’s what she wore and liked, so it only seemed natural for her to buy the same for us.  Now that I’m older (and purchase my own accessories, thank goodness), I find myself buying more and more silver.  It’s pretty, durable, and affordable – all the things I look for in an accessory.  And there’s so many ways to dress it up and down; I can wear silver with just about anything in my closet.  So when I see a shop that sells unique silver jewelry, I take notice.

Owned by Laura King, Loralyn Designs specializes in unique silver jewelry and gifts.  Laura started crafting at a very young age, and was selling her handmade jewelry door-to-door at the age of 8.  In her teens, she added 3D plastic canvas Christmas ornaments to her inventory.  From there, she moved into woodworking and DIY around the house projects, and eventually metal crafts.  Loralyn Designs proudly displays this new passion and her extreme talent in every one of her cute wine charms,  beautiful necklaces and rings, and useful magnets and keychains.  But it doesn’t stop there, because the very purpose of Loralyn Designs is to inspire you.  To get you thinking about something that you can make.  It’s not just jewelry for you to put on or gifts for you to give, but something to get your own creative juices flowing.

So let me take this opportunity to show you just a few of beautiful things at Loralyn Designs.  Like these wine charms – the perfect housewarming or wedding present.  Or maybe a fun way to dress up drinks and appetizers at home before a night out on the town.  These charms are made of memory wire, so there’s no need to worry about closing these wine charms – place them around the stem and they will stay secure and retain their shape!I love these magnets.  I love how these are both sturdy and delicate at the same time.  Plus, I can never have enough magnets.And this broach is divine.  I can think of a dozen things that I could wear this with right now.  Wait…make that 2 dozen.And then there is this necklace; I’m totally intrigued by it.  It reminds me a little of stained glass.  Not sure what I’d wear with it, but I really like it.
