Maybe we should call her “Million Dollar Bunny”. Holy crap, I had no idea Build a Bear was that expensive! Sure, it seems reasonable when you walk in the door and pick out a stuffed animal, but wow do those outfits get expensive quick. The leggings on this bunny cost more than some of the pants I’ve bought for Greenleigh. I wish I were kidding…but I’m not. And it doesn’t help that you can’t even see the leggings in this picture. Le Sigh. Good thing we had some gift cards to make it more reasonable. We had a great time though. Greenleigh picked out the animal she wanted and patiently waited her turn to have her stuffed. She was super excited to press on the pedal and stuff her new friend. And I didn’t take a picture of it, but watching her pick the heart for her bunny, kiss it, then put it inside, was so incredibly cute. She took it all very seriously. Then it was off to pick out clothes. She didn’t want my help here. I am so uncool. She did end up agreeing to the shoes I suggested, but only because they were sparkly shoes like hers.
Then it was of to make a birth certificate and name our new friend. Erajh and I vetoed Dora and Elmo, before finally agreeing to Daisy Bunny. She didn’t want our help making the birth certificate. If only she could type (or read/write).It’s love. And I’m so very happy that she has replaced the creepy dolls in the morning on the way to school. So while a real bunny isn’t in our future any time soon ever, Daisy Bunny has been a great addition to the family.Oh good, finally a picture where you can actually see the ridiculously expensive leggings. Sort of.
I stay out of that store, I got one for the kid once and he was done with it in about a week. At least your little one is playing with it:P They are cute though.
