A few months ago I reconnected on Facebook with a good friend and sorority sister from college, Kelly. A few days after reconnecting, Kelly added me to her Thirty One consultant Facebook group. I had never heard of Thirty One so I began to explore her website which gave a bit of background into the company. I was immediately drawn in when I found out that it was started by Cindy Monroe, a working mom from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Cindy found that the pressures of being a working mom prevented her from venturing out to the cute boutiques, so she started her own company where women can shop on their terms. What started as her sewing purses in her basement has grown to a nationwide business with over 40,000 consultants. With the philosophy of celebrating, encouraging, and rewarding women to become sucessful business owners, and offering quality products, this number is sure to grow.
As I explored the Thirty One catalog, I found the items cute, trendy, and very reasonably priced. And I just love that everything can be monogrammed. I ended up settling on this thermal lunch tote:

When my lunch tote arrived, it didn’t disappoint. I’ve been trying to bring my lunch to work more often in an effort to eat a little better and save some money, but keeping it cold on the 40-ish mile trip to the office has been difficult in the past. This tote has totally solved that problem. It’s stylish and functional, the perfect combo. I’m now a Thirty One customer for life.
