That’s what Greenleigh and I sang all the way to play group this morning. Unfortunately, it didn’t work. We did manage to make the best of our rainy, windy Saturday though. Thank goodness for indoor playgrounds! Their toys are way better than ours. Obviously. On the way home from playgroup, we saw a farmer’s market with a pumpkin patch. Luckily, the rain stopped just long enough so we could go check it out.
Then, we had to paint the pumpkin we had just purchased. Messy endeavor, but she had fun. After her nap, we worked on some Halloween crafts at home.
She’s really into abstract art right now. Maybe it’s a phase, maybe it isn’t. I guess we’ll see.
So that was how we survived our rainy day indoors. We had fun, but I’m running out of ideas and we are expected to have more bad weather tomorrow. If you have young kids, how do you spend rainy days? What are your favorite indoor activities? I need ideas!
Aw! Sooooooo adorable! ~ thanks, namaste, Carol (A Creative Harbor) linked up with Sunday Blog Hop ^_^
What a cool indoor play area. My daughter and I love baking cookies and building a fort out of boxes! Visiting from Mom Mart’s no rules social media hop. Amanda from http://www.copingwithfrugality.com
Baking! What a great idea! I hadn’t thought of that – but I’m sure she would love to help. I just need to find a way to keep her hands out of the batter. 🙂
