So as you might have seen on my blog’s Facebook page, I’m school supply shopping for the first time this year. I know, I know, what could a 4 year old possibly need for Pre-K? Turns out, a lot of stuff. A whole lot of stuff, actually. Pencils, a notebook, crayons, paper, and so, so much more. Each item more specific than the last, because it’s not just “a notebook” on that’s on the list, it’s a one-inch white notebook with a clear pocket front. It’s not just pencils, they’re colored pencils…in primary colors only. While I’d like to do all of Greenleigh’s school shopping in one place, I’m sure that trips to multiple stores will be required and that list of 15-20 things will no doubt cost me a pretty penny. Then I have to count on her not losing what I bought or it accidentally being sent home with another student.
But as much as I’m griping about it right now, I know that these are the school supply lists that are easy…like so many other things, it’s only going to get more intense and complicated from here. Her school supply lists will get longer and more expensive – textbooks, laptops, cellphones, iPads – making me all the more nervous to actually send her to school with what I’ve bought her. No doubt, I’ll end up like the 60% of people who worry about the security of belongings why they or their children are at school.* Which is why it’s so important to protect the school supplies that you send to school and college with Master Lock.
As the world’s largest manufacturer of padlocks and other security related items since 1921, Master Lock has a variety of security options to protect your back to school purchases. From their SafeSpace Portable Safe to Speed Dial Set-Your-Own Combination Lock to the Master Lock Vault to the Master Lock 1500eDBX dialSpeed (pictured below), there’s no school supply that Master Lock can’t protect!
That awesome looking, hi-tech lock pictured above will totally eliminate the fear of forgetting your locker combination. Designed ergonomically for one-handed, no look operation, this lock is stylish and secure. It not only features a electronic light-up keypad, but also boasts a unique online Backup Master Code (which can be retrieved by going to masterlockvault.com), resettable guest codes, and a sleek design intended to get you into your stored belongings quickly. Turns out Master Lock has come leaps and bounds from the turn dial padlock I had on my high school locker all those years ago!
We’re still a few years away from the locker stage, but you best believe that the second Greenleigh gets a locker, I’m slapping one of these digital locks on it…because if she’s like me, she’ll always have problems remembering her combination and end up getting into a fight with that standard school issued padlock before her school day even starts.
