Wordless Wednesday: Snapshots from Chicago & BlogHer13

I’m going to do a whole post on my BlogHer13 experience…really, I am…you know later this week (or next?).  I’ve even considered splitting it up into several different posts because there’s just so much to cover.  But until I get around to that, I wanted to share a few pictures from my trip, just in case you don’t follow me on Twitter or Instagram (which you totally should ’cause all the cool kids are doing it).

This was the view from my room on the first day of the conference.  I was really glad that I took this picture, too, since it was cloudy and gray for the rest of the conference.But no time to look at the view, there were parties to attend!  Like this one, where I met Snoopy and my new friend from Mommy Mafia MIAMI:

Yep, that’s a strand of pink hair woven into a braid.  I looked absolutely ridiculous but my kids would have thought I was cool (for a second).

The next day, I got to dine with the great folks from Lean Cuisine.  The food was de-lish, but this pregnant girl needed more of it!Thank goodness I managed to find this entire table of cheese totally unguarded, um, I mean, unattended.  

Funny side note: Bloggers win all sorts of things when they are at these events – major appliances, huge shopping sprees, strollers, etc.  I, on the other hand, won a $25 cheese gift certificate.  If you know how much I love cheese you’ll know this was a pretty big deal for me.

The expo hall might have been smaller than last year, but the exhibitors were just as impressive.  This guy walked around and talked to people, it was creepy:I even got to meet The Pioneer Woman (again!):And I wrapped up the trip with a dinner out with some new bloggy friends:

Is it wrong that I’m already excited for next year’s conference?
