Wordless Wednesday: Just the Two of Us

At the beginning of January, Karen Lisa Artistic Photography, one of my favorite South Florida photographers, had a mini-session special.  Trust me, I wasted no time booking a session.  Karen did our family/maternity pictures when I was pregnant with Hazeline and I’ve been waiting for her to run another special since, well, 5 minutes after I got access to our online gallery back in 2011.

Towards the end of our session, and after taking oodles of pictures of the girls, Karen asked Erajh and I to stand together.  I was like, “Okay, but don’t you want to take more pictures of my kids?”, but instead of saying that out loud, I did what she asked.  This is the result:

A gorgeous (and rare) picture of just the two of us.  I just love it.  This one is definitely going in our online purchase basket.

Hopefully, I’ll have a few more pictures from our session to share in the next few weeks…

    This reminds me that the one taking the family pictures, need to actually be in the family pictures sometimes. I’m so guilty of being absent from most of our family pictures.

    Beautiful picture….it’s rare to get a couple (or even family) picture after having kids. We are doing good to get one of us in the picture with the kids!
