Around this time last year, we took the girls strawberry picking. Greenleigh had a ton of fun (with the safety scissors being her favorite thing) and I’ve been meaning to go back ever since. Unfortunately, the place we went last year is pretty far from where we live. So when I heard about a place right by our house that offers a you-pick strawberry patch on the weekend, I knew we had to go.All Hazeline wanted to do was sit in the strawberry patch and count the strawberries she had put in her basket. Good thing there were only 4!They even had a small petting zoo area where the kids could pet various farm animals. This goat really liked Greenleigh, and I think the feeling was mutual. In the end, the strawberry crop wasn’t all that great, which meant we couldn’t take many home with us, but that didn’t stop us from having fun. We gathered the few good ones we could find and the girls had them for dinner that night. We will definitely go back to this place, but probably on a Saturday when the first open – we were told that’s when they have the best selection.Oh, and that the sticker on Greenleigh’s shirt is a Strawberry Shortcake sticker. She told me that she had to be wearing one if she was going strawberry picking. And it had to be in the middle of her shirt so the strawberries would see. That child cracks me up.

It looks like a ton of fun! Awesome!
They are so cute. Great pictures
That looks like so much fun! I can’t wait until my baby boy is old enough to do things like this. Your family is lovely, btw.
