I kind of missed Wordless Wednesday this week… My intentions were good and I had planned to share our Christmas Eve and Christmas morning pictures with you, but, um, time just kind of got away from me. So who’s up for Wordless Wednesday on a Friday? Wordless Friday? I don’t know, but I don’t plan on making this a permanent thing, so I don’t think it really matters.
The festivities started on Christmas Eve at my mom’s house in Sough Carolina. This was when we learned that Greenleigh loves to unwrap gifts. She really doesn’t care what’s in them, she just wants to unwrap them.
Hazeline, on the other hand, only wants the gift. She has absolutely no interest in unwrapping until she can see toy inside, then she wants the toy removed from the packaging so she can play with it. Forever.
I absolutely love that Greenleigh’s favorite gift wasn’t technological in anyway. Instead, it was a puzzle – it was the first of Greenleigh’s gifts to be taken out of its packaging and played with. Sometimes it really is simple things.
And then on Christmas Day, it was off to have some more Christmas fun in Atlanta. Hazeline was more agreeable to opening gifts this time. And Greenleigh loved her new keyboard! Then she opened everyone else’s gifts, but they were okay with that.It was exhausting, but so much fun. I hope you all had an equally fabulous Christmas!
